Amin Merchant

Amin Merchant has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amin'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Operations at Unotech Software Pvt. Ltd, where they started in July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Monitoring & Evaluation at Aga Khan Development Network, Council for India from March 2017 to March 2019. Amin also worked at Tech Mahindra Business Services as a Senior Manager in MIS, Planning and Analytics from July 2011 to February 2017. Amin has previous experience with Aga Khan Development Network as a DEO in Programs from May 2009 to July 2011. Amin's earlier career was at HSBC, where they held various positions including AVP in MIS and Planning from April 2007 to October 2008, Manager in Service, Sales, and Collections from April 2003 to March 2007, and Executive from March 2001 to March 2003. Amin started their professional journey at UTI Bank as an Executive from April 1998 to February 2001. Amin's work experience encompasses roles in operations, monitoring and evaluation, MIS, planning and analytics, and service management across industries such as software, development, and banking.

Amin Merchant's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Amin then pursued a CAIIB degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, which they completed from 2001 to 2003.

In 2009, Amin enrolled in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for a DFMA degree in Social Sciences, which they completed in 2011. Moving forward, Amin obtained an Executive Certificate in Global Business Leadership from Manipal GlobalNxt University, completing the program in 2016.
