Agustina Besada

Agustina Besada is a social entrepreneur with extensive experience in sustainability and circular economy initiatives. As Co-Founder and CEO of Unplastify, Agustina leads efforts to minimize disposable plastic use and reshape human interaction with plastic. Agustina also serves as a Professor at Pepperdine University and as a Fellow at Ashoka, contributing to a global community of changemakers. Additionally, Agustina holds positions as an Explorer at National Geographic, Director of Circular Economy at Asociación Sustentar, and Coordinator of the Resource Efficiency Working Group for the LEDS LAC Platform. Previous roles include Executive Director at Sure We Can and Columbia Business School Associate Director at the Deming Center. Agustina's academic background includes a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Industrial Design from Universidad de Palermo.
