Brad Brown

Brad Brown is a seasoned investment professional and strategist with a diverse portfolio of leadership roles across multiple sectors. As the Managing Partner and Founder of Applied Equity since August 2016, Brown has overseen over 80 investments in small growth companies. With a long-standing tenure at McKinsey & Company, Brown served as Senior Partner and now holds the title of Senior Partner Emeritus, specializing in Technology and Big Data practices in the fintech arena. Brown holds directorial positions on various boards, including ISI, Bridge, Otonom Solution Inc., Inex One, and Liine, contributing expertise in SaaS, customer communications, payments technology, and AI solutions. Additionally, Brown advises fintech venture capital fund Nyca Partners and continues to invest in innovative companies like Unqork and BlueVoyant. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering/Computer Science from Dartmouth College, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
