Marina Trethewey has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they worked as a Languages Supply Teacher at Randstad Education. Marina then moved on to Hele's School in 2013, where they worked as a Languages Teacher for a few months. Marina then transitioned into the tech industry, working as a Front-end Web Developer for freelance projects in 2015. Later in 2015, they joined Elixel as a Front-end Web Developer. Marina continued freelancing as a Front-end Web Developer until 2016. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Director of Future Sync Events. In 2018, they joined The Creative Engagement Group as a Developer/Designer and stayed until 2022. Marina then worked at Zuru Media in 2022 as a Frontend Developer, focusing on the quotesearch.com site using Nuxt.js and Storyblok CMS. Marina also had a recent role as a Frontend Developer at an undisclosed company from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Marina is working as a Frontend Developer at UNRVLD, starting in 2023.
Marina Trethewey completed their education in a chronological order. Marina first attended The University of St. Mark and St. John from 2010 to 2011, where they pursued a PGCE Secondary degree in Modern Foreign Languages with a focus on French and German. Following that, Marina enrolled at the University of Plymouth from 2013 to 2017 to earn their BSc (Hons) degree in Digital Art and Technology with a specialization in Information Design.
