Michael Dalgarno-Holt

Michael Dalgarno-Holt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael started their career as a Temporary Warehouse Assistant at WHSmith in 1996, where they processed deliveries, maintained the stock room, and developed customer service skills. Michael then joined Asda as a Trainee Supervisor in 1996 and transformed the music and video department, re-merchandising and replenishing stock according to company procedures.

In 1999, Michael moved on to Friends Provident, where they held various roles before being promoted to Process Support Consultant. Michael developed good analytical proficiency and investigated and identified problems with online services. From 2002 to 2002, Michael worked as a Bar Assistant at Cruz 101 and Paradise Factory, providing customer service in a fast-paced bar atmosphere.

In 2005, Michael briefly worked as a Web Developer as a Freelancer before joining H&M in 2009 as an Extra Responsible Sales Assistant. Michael supervised the team, mentored new starters, and supported day-to-day operations.

In 2013, Michael expanded their skills as a Web Developer with freelance projects and also served as an MMU Intern at Manchester Metropolitan University. In this role, they developed online material, organized live-simulation events, and maintained departmental websites.

In 2014, Michael joined Wink Nudge as a Junior Front End Web Developer. Michael was involved in numerous projects, including the development of websites, apps, and web games. Michael gained experience in HTML5 web games, AngularJS, and Cordova/PhoneGap built Hybrid native apps.

Currently, Michael is working at UNRVLD as a Frontend Developer. Michael has held the position since September 2015 and was recently promoted to Senior Frontend Developer in August 2022.

Michael Dalgarno-Holt began their education at The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009, where they completed a Foundation Year. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Web Development at the same institution from 2010 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Learn Javascript & JQuery From Scratch" from Udemy in March 2014 and also completed a certification in "PSD to HTML5/CSS3" from Udemy in the same month and year.
