RAID AMRO

Chief Field Health Program

RAID AMRO is a strategic public health leader and medical doctor who currently serves as the Chief Field Health Program at UNRWA, a position they have held since 2024. They previously held the role of Head of Health Center at UNRWA from 2020 to 2021, where they supervised health services and medical staff. RAID began their medical career as a Senior Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at AL Ahli Hospital from 2008 to 2009 and later advanced to Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Palestinian Red Crescent Hospital from 2011 to 2012. RAID holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Baghdad University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Birzeit University.
