David Hull has had extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. David is currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at UNSW College since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA) starting from March 2022.
David has also worked at Navitas from 2013 to 2022, where they held various positions including Head of IT - University Partnerships Australia, Head of Business Technology Partnerships - Australasia, IT Project Manager, and IT Operational Support and Research Officer. As an IT Project Manager, they successfully planned, managed, and delivered Group IT projects. As an IT Operational Support and Research Officer, they managed relationships with IT vendors and maintained IT assets.
Before joining Navitas, David worked at Integrity Group as an IT Personnel Consultant / IT Support from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they were responsible for interviewing, selecting, and testing IT candidates for recruitment.
David's early work experience includes a role as an Assistant Land Surveyor at Meridian Land Surveyors from 2004 to 2005, where they assisted civil engineers in the construction of a new road.
Overall, David Hull has gained significant expertise and experience in IT and has held various managerial and technical positions throughout their career.
David Hull's education history includes the following:
- In 2018, they completed the Executive Development Leadership Program at INSEAD.
- From 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Postgrad degree in Computing at the University of Dundee.
- Between 2005 and 2008, they obtained a BSc degree in Computer and Network Technology from Northumbria University.
- From 1998 to 2004, they attended Arbroath High School.
In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained several certifications. These include Conflict Resolution Training from PD Training in 2016, as well as PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications from PEOPLECERT in 2016.
