Ryan Morris has over 15 years of work experience in the software development industry. Ryan began their career in 2004 as a Software Developer (Co-op) at Epson EDGE, where they researched and developed video de-interlacing algorithms and developed and debugged Matlab libraries. In 2005, they worked as an Embedded Software Developer (Co-op) at NVIDIA, where they enhanced and debugged embedded drivers in C++ to support video and jpeg decoding hardware. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an NSERC Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Waterloo. From 2010 to 2015, they were an Embedded Systems Software Developer at BlackBerry, where they were responsible for bring-up, feature addition, and debugging of SlimPort and HDMI drivers on Qualcomm platforms, and maintained and extended Imagination Technologies, Vivante & Mesa GPU drivers. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Christie Digital Systems as an Advanced Product Developer and Software Developer, Product on the SSD - Solutions Software Developer team. Finally, in 2020, they began working at Untether AI as a Technical Lead - Kernel Team and Software Engineer - Kernel Team.

Ryan Morris obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science and Applied Math from the University of Waterloo between 2002 and 2007. Ryan then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Quantum Physics from the same university between 2007 and 2009. In November 2017, they also obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance.
