Wassim Almaaoui has worked in the technology industry since 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Sentelis as a Big Data Consultant and at Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance as a V360 Customer. In 2017, they also worked at AXA Investment Managers on a mission with Sentelis. In 2018, they joined Teads.tv as a Big Data Engineer, where they developed and optimized Spark/Scala jobs and contributed to the development of the company's internal prediction library. In 2020, they started working at UntieNots as a Senior Data Engineer. Previously, they worked at Amadeus IT Group on a travel intelligence solution for Rails.

Wassim Almaaoui completed their General Engineer degree at Telecom Bretagne from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they completed an exchange semester at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, studying System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management. wassim also achieved several certifications, including Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark from Coursera in July 2017, Functional Program Design in Scala from Coursera in May 2017, Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in April 2017, Hadoop Platform and Application Framework from Coursera in December 2015, and CCA Spark and Hadoop Developer from Cloudera in October 2017.
