Nicola MacEwen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Nicola has worked as a Williams Winter Study Adjunct Professor at Williams College since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Visiting Lecturer at Framingham State University starting in 2021. Nicola also worked as a Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility Research Consultant at UNTUCKit from 2021. Nicola has been an Adjunct Professor and an Advisory Board Member at Fisher College since 2018. In 2017, they worked as an Instructor at LaSalle College. Nicola'sprior experience includes being the Director of the Fashion Department at John Casablancas Institute of Applied Arts from 2012 to 2016, where they managed various aspects of the Fashion Business & Creative Arts Diploma Program. Nicola was also a College Director and an Instructor at the same institute from 2007 to 2011 and from 2006 to 2007 respectively. In 2005, they worked as a Retail & Interior Design Consultant at A Simple Plan, offering guidance to Vancouver based companies. Nicola also co-founded and managed Homeward Bound for a brief period in 2005. Before that, they were an Associate Buyer at ABC Carpet & Home from 2003 to 2005, where they managed various departments and high-profile accounts.
Nicola MacEwen began their education in 1999 at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising Management. Nicola studied at the institute for four years, until 2003, when they successfully completed their degree.
In 2001 and 2002, Nicola expanded their knowledge and experience by attending Polimoda. During their time at Polimoda, they focused on International Fashion Merchandising without pursuing a specific degree.
More recently, in 2020, Nicola enrolled in the Fashion Management Graduate Program at Parsons School of Design - The New School. Nicola completed their studies at Parsons in 2021, although the field of study for their degree is not specified.
