Ariel Anthony

Ariel Anthony currently serves as AVP & Legal Counsel for Litigation at Unum, beginning in January 2022. Previously, Ariel worked as a Senior Associate at Husch Blackwell, where key responsibilities included leading litigation efforts for an insurance company and managing a discovery team. Prior roles include Seconded In-House Legal Counsel at PayPal, where Ariel supported litigation matters and supervised outside counsel on arbitrations. Experience further encompasses a Judicial Extern position at the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and various summer associate roles. Early career foundations include legal internships and roles in sales and marketing. Ariel holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Rhodes College.
