Ben Katz

Ben Katz serves as the Group Treasurer at Unum, overseeing cash management, liquidity, and payment modernization since November 2018. Previously, Ben held the position of President at Katz Capital Advisory LLC, offering strategic advice to financial institutions from February 2017 to November 2018. Ben has extensive experience in the financial sector, having worked as Managing Director at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, Deutsche Bank, and Lehman Brothers, where expertise focused on bank and insurance company financial structures and corporate finance. Early career experience includes serving as Vice President at Merrill Lynch in new product development. Ben holds a Master of Business Administration in International Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, earned between 1991 and 1995.
