Chuck Piacentini

Chuck Piacentini, Esq. serves as Chief Regulatory Counsel at Unum since May 2022, following a tenure as General Counsel at Martin's Point Health Care and Vice President and Chief Counsel at the American Council of Life Insurers. With extensive experience in insurance regulation and legislative advocacy, Chuck has represented major organizations in matters concerning long-term care insurance and group insurance issues, influencing legislation across all 50 states. Prior roles at Unum included VP State Legislative Affairs, where Chuck acted as the chief lobbyist, and various positions focused on litigation and regulatory compliance. A graduate of Bowdoin College with a BA in Economics and Government and Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a JD, Chuck also practiced law as a partner and associate at Murray, Plumb & Murray from 1994 to 2001, specializing in civil litigation.
