John Gandy

John Gandy, CFA, possesses extensive experience in investment strategy and derivatives. Currently serving as Head of Derivatives and AVP at Unum since March 2016, John leads the derivatives team and plays a crucial role in shaping the overall portfolio investment strategy, including asset allocation and capital efficiency assessments. Previously, John held positions at Chevron as a Crude Oil Derivatives Trader, where responsibilities included executing trading strategies and advising management during significant market downturns, and at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where John focused on foreign exchange trading and strategic hedging for corporate clients. John's educational background includes a BSBA in Economics from the University of Florida.
