Nathan Copp

Nathan Copp possesses extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, investment accounting, and operations, currently serving as AVP of FP&A Expense Management at Unum since October 2018. Key achievements include simplifying the annual budgeting process through a new Anaplan model and Tableau reporting, as well as developing a transparent expense allocation methodology. Previously, at Unum, Nathan held roles as AVP of Investment Accounting & Operations and AVP of Finance, where notable contributions included leading multi-billion dollar reinsurance deals and enhancing strategic operational roadmaps. Nathan’s prior experience at Liberty Mutual Insurance spanned over 14 years, where leadership roles in financial analysis focused on significant IT infrastructure budgets and transforming finance teams into business partners. Nathan Copp earned an MBA from the University of New Hampshire and a BS in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology.
