Reed Hayes

Reed Hayes is an accomplished leader in the fields of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Digital Innovation. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Applied AI/ML at Unum since January 2019, Reed leads a team focused on developing advanced AI products and platforms. In addition to this role, Reed is a co-founder and board member of Rendever, which provides virtual reality solutions for long-term care facilities, and serves as a guest lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management. Previous experiences include roles at The Walt Disney Company, where Reed drove innovation in emerging technologies, and The Coca-Cola Company, where strategic machine learning models for customer engagement were developed. Reed holds an MBA from MIT and a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
