Mike McCarthy

Mike McCarthy is an experienced security and program management professional with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior Security Specialist at Unwin Company since September 2012, McCarthy provides technical support in evaluating safeguards and security programs for DOE facilities while collaborating with both headquarters and field personnel. Prior to this role, McCarthy spent nearly a decade at Battelle as a Program Manager for the Special Technologies Program Office, overseeing SOF marketing and engineering efforts, and managing various tactical projects. Their extensive background also includes a distinguished 21-year tenure in the US Navy SEAL, reaching the rank of Master Chief and holding numerous leadership positions within Naval Special Warfare commands. McCarthy holds a Master's degree in Management from Troy University.
