David Wong

David Wong has extensive work experience in the finance and banking industry. David is currently the Head of Regional Credit at UOB Kay Hian, where they lead a team of professionals and manages lending and financing activities across various markets. Prior to this, David worked at ING, where they held multiple roles including Senior Credit Officer and Director in the Utilities, Power, Renewables, and Infrastructure sectors. David also has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic and as an Assistant Vice President at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Before entering the finance industry, David served in the Singapore Armed Forces as an Infantry Officer.

David Wong has a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Master of Science in Innovations in Manufacturing Systems & Technology from the Singapore - Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alliance (SMA), a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Diploma in Pianoforte Performance from Trinity College London, and completed the SAF Officer Cadet Course at the Singapore Armed Forces Military Institute (SAFTI MI). Additionally, David obtained a certification in Influencing Advanced from WB Business school in 2017.
