Qi Wang

Qi Wang, CFA has extensive work experience spanning over 24 years. Qi is currently the Chief Investment Officer (Wealth Management) at UOB Kay Hian since September 2023. Prior to this, Qi worked as the Creator of "Daily Reflection on China," a newsletter providing investment insights about China. Before that, they co-founded MegaTrust Investment (HK) in 2015, where they served as the Co-founder and CIO until December 2023. Qi also held the position of Head of China Equity Research at MSCI from June 2013 to April 2015. Qi was the Chief Investment Officer at China Everbright Limited from February 2010 to November 2012 and an Investment Director at Elliott Advisors (HK) from April 2007 to February 2010. At the beginning of their career, Qi worked as a Global Tech Strategist at UBS from February 2000 to March 2007 and as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs from August 1997 to July 1999.

Qi Wang, CFA attended Shanghai Foreign Language School from 1986 to 1992 for high school education. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colby College from 1992 to 1996. Lastly, they attended Dartmouth College from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering.
