Kent Vorland

Kent Vorland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kent has held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Uome since January 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of SimplyPayMe from December 2017 to September 2022, where they successfully led the company's growth and established it as a global leader in payment solution software. Kent also served as the Head of Partnerships and Acquisitions at SimplyPayMe from April 2016 to November 2017.

In addition, Kent worked as a Non-Executive Director at Findexable from June 2019 to June 2022, contributing to building a thriving and progressive fintech ecosystem. Kent also acted as a Strategic Global Partner at UBINU from June 2016 to November 2017, focusing on expanding partnerships and supplying technology for contextual engagement.

Furthermore, Kent served as the UK Area Manager at Envirotech Norway from September 2015 to January 2017, contributing to the revolutionization of the data center industry with a focus on sustainability. Kent also worked as a Business Consultant at BRKV from October 2015 to February 2016, providing strategic consulting and developing efficient processes for increased revenue growth.

Prior to that, Kent held various positions at The Corporate Presence, including Global Account Manager from March 2015 to June 2015, where they built a network of accounts and clientele on the West Coast. Kent also served as a Global Account Manager for a temporary period of three months and mentored a sales team. Before that, they worked as an International Account Executive from February 2014 to January 2015.

Kent started their career as a Summer Analyst at Cova Capital Partners, LLC in 2013 and gained valuable experience in the finance industry. Kent also served in the Royal Norwegian Air Force as an Instructor for Basic Military Skills from January 2010 to May 2011, where they trained and mentored Air Force officers and managed field exercises.

Kent Vorland holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics which they obtained from Clark University between the years 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended Luftkrigsskolen where they completed the Officers Academy program and obtained the rank of Sergeant. Following their graduation from high school in 2006, they attended Gimle Videregående Skole for three years and obtained a degree called "Generell Studiekompetanse" with a focus on "Idrett."
