Up for Growth
Arica Young, PhD, LEED AP BD-C, is the Director of Housing Access and Affordability at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, where responsibilities include managing relationships within the I'm HOME Network and serving as a subject matter expert on manufactured housing and zoning regulations. In addition, Arica holds the position of Assistant Director for I'm HOME and the Underserved Mortgage Market Coalition at Up for Growth and is a member of their Advisory Council. Prior roles include Associate Director of Housing at the Bipartisan Policy Center and Country Trade Specialist at the International Trade Administration, where expertise encompasses housing policy, trade, and economic analysis. Arica's educational background includes a PhD candidacy in Planning, Governance, and Globalization from Virginia Tech, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees in foreign service and languages from Georgetown University and La Salle University, respectively.
