Doug Ryan

Doug Ryan currently serves as the Vice President of Housing Policy at Grounded Solutions Network since March 2024. Doug has been a Board Member of Up for Growth Action since January 2021, contributing to national advocacy for housing equity. In addition, Ryan has held an adjunct instructor position at American University since August 2014 and previously served as Vice President, Policy & Applied Research, and Senior Director, Affordable Homeownership at Prosperity Now until March 2024. Ryan's prior roles include board membership at Places for People, LLC, and serving as a Commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission on Human Rights. Additionally, Ryan was the Assistant Director of Federal Programs at the Housing Opportunities Commission, a Legislative Assistant to Senator Charles Schumer, and a Policy Analyst for the Federal Housing Finance Board. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University.
