Emily Hamilton

Emily Hamilton is an accomplished researcher and policy expert with extensive experience in urban policy and housing issues. Currently serving as a Member of the Advisory Council for Up for Growth since November 2020, Hamilton provides strategic feedback for the organization's research initiatives. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since 2011, Hamilton has published influential research on inclusionary zoning and housing affordability, engaging with policymakers through testimony, articles, and media appearances. Previous roles at Mercatus include Policy Research Manager and Associate Director of State Outreach, emphasizing the dissemination of research to state-level stakeholders.
