Gabriel Pergola has a diverse work experience. Gabriel is currently the Founder & CEO of up.p, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Director at BTG Pactual from August 2014 to April 2019. Before joining BTG Pactual, Gabriel worked as a Risk Analyst at BR PARTNERS from March 2012 to July 2014. Gabriel also served as a Market Risk Analyst at Itau-Unibanco from January 2010 to March 2012. Gabriel started their career in the financial industry as an Analyst at Banco Santander from July 2006 to April 2008 and later had a brief stint as an Exotic Products Structuring employee at BBVA from March 2009 to June 2009.

Gabriel Pergola has an educational background in quantitative finance and computer engineering. Gabriel completed their Master's degree in Quantitative Finance at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at Universidad de Alcalá from 2008 to 2009. Gabriel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UFSCar - Alumni, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
