Program Manager Community Violence Response Team/youth Success Initiative Mentoring Program at Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC)

Bevelynn Bravo has extensive experience in community support and advocacy, currently serving as the Supervisor of the Mobile Response Team and a Prevention Specialist at the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) since June 2015. In this role, Bevelynn responds to incidents of community violence, providing crucial support and resources to affected families and facilitating workshops aimed at strengthening families. As the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Mothers with a Message, launched in August 2012, Bevelynn leads a group of mothers who impart important lessons to youth about the consequences of their choices. Additionally, Bevelynn has served as a Certified Grief Specialist with UPAC-Alliance for Community Empowerment and as a First Responder with the San Diego Compassion Project since 2010, offering vital assistance to families affected by homicides. Previous roles include Community Engagement Liaison at Family & Youth Roundtable and Community Coordinator at Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, reflecting a strong commitment to community empowerment and support throughout a diverse career in various capacities.
