Giovanni Chávez Melo

Giovanni Chávez Melo has extensive experience in academia and technology, currently serving as a Professor and holding various academic coordination roles at UPAEP since January 2008, including coordination of master's programs in Education Mathematics, Educational Technology, Leadership and Management. Responsibilities include directing technological projects and managing the CRM and website for graduate programs. Previously, Giovanni was the Coordinator of Computing and Audiovisual Media at Instituto Carlos Pereyra de Puebla from January 2005 to September 2007, focusing on equipping computer centers, managing academic computing initiatives, and developing technology education projects. Giovanni holds a Doctorate in Educational Systems and Environments from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (2017-2022), a Master's in Information Technology and Decision Analysis from UPAEP (2005-2009), and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (1998-2002).
