Michael Rhey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President - Consumer Regulatory Compliance and Contracts at Upbound Group since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Counsel, Contracts and Regulatory Compliance at the same company from May 2019 to December 2022.

Michael Rhey attended the University of Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Warrington College of Business in 2002. Michael then continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Decision and Information Sciences from the Warrington College of Business in 2002. From 2002 to 2005, Rhey studied law at the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
