Hasan Turken

Hasan Turken has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Hasan started their career as a software engineer at Aselsan in October 2008 and worked there until September 2014. Hasan then joined SAP in September 2014 and held various roles including software developer, senior software developer, and software architect until October 2019. In October 2019, Hasan joined Upbound as a senior platform engineer and later transitioned to the role of principal software engineer in October 2020. Hasan is currently still employed at Upbound.

Hasan Turken completed their education at Middle East Technical University. Hasan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2004 to 2009. Hasan then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from 2011 to 2013. Prior to their university studies, Hasan attended Çapa Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesi, although the specific start and end years are not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Hasan Turken has obtained several certifications. Hasan became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) in September 2017 through CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation). Hasan also attended various speaking engagements, including KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2020 and Open Source Summit North America 2020, organized by The Linux Foundation. Hasan further expanded their expertise by acquiring the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certifications from The Linux Foundation in January 2021 and November 2021, respectively.
