Matt Norsworthy

Matt Norsworthy is currently the Director of Integrated Solutions and Business Development at UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education Association), where they are responsible for developing and executing a business development strategy. Matt also works closely with key stakeholders to promote UPCEA's value proposition and identify new prospects. Prior to this role, Matt served as the Director of Member Experience at UPCEA, where they focused on member services, day-to-day operations, and member reports.

Before joining UPCEA, Matt gained experience as an Online Adjunct English Professor at the University of Maryland University College, a Visiting Professor at DeVry University, and a Professor/Instructor as a self-employed individual. Matt was also an Online Adjunct Professor at Strayer University for over 15 years.

In addition, Matt has held various roles at the Online Learning Consortium (formerly known as The Sloan Consortium), including Director of Strategic Partnerships and Senior Manager of Partnerships. Matt was responsible for establishing relationships with institutions, providing professional development options, and managing sales territory.

Furthermore, Matt co-founded Our.News and served as the Co-Founder and VP for a brief period. Matt has also worked as an Online Adjunct English and Humanities Professor at Ashford University and held leadership positions in historic preservation advisory and cultural committees.

Matt Norsworthy has a diverse education history. Matt obtained their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing at National University in 2006 and 2007.

Matt also holds a Master's of Liberal Studies degree from Fort Hays State University, which they completed from 2004 to 2005, with a focus in Humanities and a specialization in English. In 1993, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Armstrong State University.

Furthermore, Matt engaged in a concentrated study of British history and drama through a program in British Studies at the University of London in 1995.
