Rémi Barbot

Rémi Barbot has a work experience that spans from 2016 to 2023. Rémi started their career as a 3D Visualisation Intern at Essilor, where they developed a 3D viewing feature for the calculation software of optical lenses. Rémi then moved on to DxO, where they completed an Image Processing Internship focused on face beautification algorithms. After that, they worked at Thales as an Image Processing Intern, improving a super resolution algorithm and making architecture transformations to enhance algorithm performance. Rémi then joined A2iA as a Computer Vision Engineer, working on document processing and text analysis using Python and machine learning. Rémi later joined ProovStation, working as a Computer Vision and Image Processing Engineer, specializing in vehicle damage detection and applying computer vision and deep learning techniques. Currently, they are working at Upciti as a Computer Vision Engineer, although specific details about their role are not provided.

Rémi Barbot completed their education with a Baccalauréat Scientific awarded with high honors from Lycée Gustave Eiffel in 2013. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Lycée Gustave Eiffel. Following that, Rémi attended Lycée Gustave Eiffel again from 2012 to 2014, where they completed an Intensive foundation degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering (PSI*). From 2014 to 2018, they enrolled in the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, earning an Engineer's degree. Additionally, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued studies in the Filière Innovation Entrepreneur program.
