Sujan Selven

Sujan Selven is an experienced professional currently serving as a Councillor for Cumberland City Council since October 2024. In addition to this role, Sujan has been the Operations Manager and Supervisor at Space Group since July 2016 and is the Founder of Upcycled Tech, which focuses on providing upcycled tech equipment to improve the lives of individuals in remote Sri Lankan villages since March 2021. Sujan also established the Tamil Resource Centre in January 2017 and has coordinated events for both Yaarl (July 2011 - June 2019) and Voice of Tamils (January 2003 - January 2014). Previously, Sujan worked as a Debt Officer at the Australian Taxation Office from 2011 to 2012. Sujan's educational background includes a Certificate in Telecommunications Engineering from TAFE NSW, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Australian Catholic University, and multiple diplomas in Business Administration and Events from TAFE NSW.
