John Lynch

John Lynch has a diverse work experience in data analytics and engineering roles. John started their career at Roberts Capital Advisors LLC as an Analyst, where they were responsible for investment research, software development, and fundraising. During their time there, they developed investment strategies and incorporated alternative data sources into the investment process.

John then joined Recurse Center as a Recurser for a brief period before moving on to CoverWallet as a Data Analyst. At CoverWallet, they joined a newly created data team and worked on scaling up their data capabilities. John led an initiative to redesign and implement their core data model using dbt, enabling the data analysts to own data modeling end-to-end.

Most recently, John worked at Updater, starting as a Senior Data Engineer and progressing to Lead Data Engineer. John contributed to the company's data analytics team, where they were involved in managing and analyzing complex data sets. John was then promoted to Manager, Data Analytics, and finally to their current role as Senior Manager, Data Analytics.
