Les Echem

Les Echem has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles.

Most recently, Les worked as a Senior Software Engineer II at Updater, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, Les was a Software Engineer at Haven Life from January 2017 to April 2021.

Les also has experience as a Front End Developer at IdeaWork Studios Inc from December 2015 to October 2016, as a Web Developer at Quik Creative from November 2011 to December 2015, and as a Web Developer at ROYCE' Confections USA from December 2012 to September 2013.

Additionally, Les has worked as a Design and Digital Assets Manager at Lady M Confections Co., Ltd. from April 2012 to March 2015, as a Marketing Director at Okada & Company from July 2011 to September 2012, as an Account Coordinator at FB International Inc. from April 2011 to September 2011, and as an Assistant Photographer at NET-A-PORTER GROUP LTD in 2011.

Before transitioning into the tech industry, Les worked as a Photographer at Holland America Line from February 2009 to March 2010.

Les Echem attended Fullstack Academy in 2015, where they earned a degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, in 2011, they attended the School of Visual Arts to study Intermediate Graphic Design. From 2006 to 2010, Les Echem pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design at Ateneo de Manila University.

In addition to their formal education, Les Echem has obtained several certifications in various programming languages and technologies. In 2015, they obtained certifications in GitHub and Node.JS from Treehouse Inc. They also completed courses in Git Basics/GitHub, jQuery, HTML & CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby from institutions like Treehouse Inc. and Codecademy. Les Echem also participated in Code School's Front End Foundations and JavaScript Road Trip Parts 1-3 courses, although specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
