Dave Asprey's work experience begins in 2004 when they worked for Citrix Systems as a Director of Technology Strategy. Dave then worked as a Senior Advisor at Corventis, Inc, where they played a role in developing health monitoring in the cloud. Dave joined Zeus Technology as the Vice President of Marketing and Technology Strategy and later became the VP of Technology and Business at Blue Coat Systems. As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Trinity Ventures, they identified new investment areas in cloud computing. Next, Asprey joined a startup called Basis as the Co-founder and CTO, focusing on creating a cloud-based health and wellness service. Dave later became a Vice President at Trend Micro as the company's cloud computing and virtualization evangelist. Asprey founded Bulletproof 360, a venture-backed startup that began as a blog but grew into a company providing products and content related to human performance. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of Upgrade Labs. Additionally, Asprey served as the Chairman of Silicon Valley Health Institute.
Dave Asprey attended UC Santa Barbara from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a four-year study program in Computer Science. Following this, from 1994 to 1995, they attended California State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Later on, from 2002 to 2004, Asprey attended The Wharton School, earning an MBA in Business.
