Janet Norton

Janet Norton is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical documentation, coding, and nursing. Since June 2017, Janet has served as a Clinical Documentation Specialist, Coder, and Trainer at Uphams Corner Health Center. Prior to this role, Janet was the Director of the Clinical Documentation Team at Commonwealth Care Alliance from June 2011 to May 2017, where responsibilities included the development of a Clinical Documentation Improvement System (CDIS) program and educational support for clinical staff. Janet's career also includes roles such as Nurse Clinical Coordinator for the Senior Care Options Program at Commonwealth Care Alliance, Per Diem Home Care Clinician at Laboure Center, and management positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Janet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from UMass Boston, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Bunker Hill Community College, and a nursing diploma from UMass Boston.
