Troy Byner graduated from Boston University in 1990 with a Certificate in Social Work; he also attended Roxbury Community College where he received his Paralegal Certificate and was on the Dean’s list. In 2017, Troy received his Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and, in 2019, received his Associate’s Degree in Science and in Criminal Justice, both from Bunker Hill Community College.
Troy is a long-time resident of the Dorchester community and provides community service to the following: Commission on Elderly Affairs; NAACP Boston Chapter; AIDS Action Committee, Boston; BHA Advisory Council; New England Home for Little Wanderers; Boston Community Choir; and the Joyful Voices of Inspiration.

Uphams Corner Health Center
Upham’s Corner Health Center (UCHC) provides comprehensive medical, dental, pediatric, vision, and urgent care services to the residents of North Dorchester and its surrounding neighborhoods in Boston, Massachusetts. UCHC also operates a Home Healthcare program and a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) with inclusive health services for older adults at three dedicated PACE Centers and in-home care.
