Chris is a seasoned entrepreneur and technologist with over 20 year’s industry experience providing effective solutions to business across many sectors.

As Chief Technology Officer, Head of Data Privacy, and Director of Information Security for a variety of global Fintech companies, Chris has deployed global solutions for leading investment banks including Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Barclays Capital, and HBOS and Foreign Exchange companies including Caxtonfx.

Prior to joining Uphold, Chris served as the Director of Data Privacy and Information Security Officer for Ipreo Holdings LLC, a company owned by Blackstone and Goldman Sachs. Certified by the British Standards Institution as a Lead Implementer (ISO_27001) and The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Chris was responsible for the development and coordination of an organization-wide privacy risk management and regulatory compliance framework.
