Jisong L.

Jisong L. is an accomplished technology and venture capital professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of BeFreed and Founder in Residence at Afore Capital since November 2024, Jisong also holds the position of Venture Capital Scout Manager at UpHonest Capital and is an active Angel Investor focusing on SaaS, consumer, and ML/AI sectors. As a Board Member of the Columbia Venture Community, Jisong supports entrepreneurship initiatives. Previously, a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest, Jisong contributed to core machine learning infrastructure from August 2020 to October 2024 and was involved in innovative projects at Google as a Software Engineer. Jisong holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Shandong University.
