Le Zheng

Le Zheng is an experienced electrical engineer and venture scout specializing in innovative technologies and healthcare solutions. Currently working as a Venture Scout at UpHonest Capital since October 2022, Le Zheng focuses on identifying disruptive startups that have the potential to impact lives in the next 5-10 years. Previously, Le Zheng served as Principal Electrical Engineer at Detect, contributing to the development of affordable at-home COVID-19 tests and rapid molecular tests for infectious diseases. In prior roles, Le Zheng also held positions at Roswell Biotechnologies, where work involved pioneering molecular electronic platforms for home medical diagnostics, and at Hewlett Packard Labs, focusing on resistive memory technology and its applications. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC Santa Cruz, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science in Microelectronics from Fudan University.
