Shawn Carter

Shawn Carter has extensive work experience in the steel industry. Shawn began their career at USS-POSCO Industries in 1987 as a Union Operator and steadily progressed through various roles. Shawn served as a Maintenance Technician Electrical, where they repaired and maintained equipment used in steel production. Shawn later became a Process Improvement Coordinator, working as a liaison between management and union employees on process improvement projects. Shawn then moved on to become a Department Manager, overseeing operations in different divisions, including Black Plate Operations Tin Division and Sheet Division Operations. Shawn was also responsible for managing labor relations and security as the Director of Labor Relations and Security / FSO. Throughout their career, Shawn demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management capabilities, and expertise in labor relations and security.

From 2005 to 2006, Shawn Carter studied at Saint Mary's College of California. Shawn pursued a Bachelor's Business Degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
