David C. Elser

David C. Elser currently serves as President of UPL North America, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this, David was Senior Vice President at Nutrien Ag Solutions from September 2018 to July 2023, where leadership spanned a North American business generating nearly $14 billion in revenue with 14,000 employees. David's earlier career at Syngenta included various high-level roles focused on sales, commercial operations, and crop management from March 1997 to September 2018. David's journey began with a role as a Sales Representative at Valent BioSciences between November 1995 and February 1997. Educational qualifications encompass an Executive Leadership Program from IMD and a Marketing and Sales Excellence degree from INSEAD, complemented by a Political Science and Economics degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
