Thelma Perez Soares Correa is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance across Latin America. Currently serving as the Legal and Compliance Director and Head of Legal for Brasil and Latam at UPL since April 2019, Thelma previously held key legal leadership positions at Arysta LifeScience, Platform Specialty Products Corporation, and Philip Morris International, among others. Thelma's legal expertise spans various roles, including Administrative Tax Judge at the Administrative Tax Court of State of Sao Paulo and Partner at Advocacia Muzzi. Thelma's educational background includes a Bachelor of Law, a Master's in Law from USP focusing on Latin America Integration, and a Business Law certification from the University of Toronto.
