Yaswandeo Thakoor

Yaswandeo (Yash) Thakoor is an experienced professional in demand planning and master data administration, currently serving as the Regional Demand Planning & Master Data Administration Manager for Africa at UPL since May 2021. Previous roles include Regional Master Data & Business Process Manager for the Africa & Middle East region and Master Data Steward, where responsibilities encompassed integrating master data with business processes and ensuring data accuracy across platforms such as SAP. Prior to UPL, Yaswandeo held various positions at the African Coordination Center BIA, focusing on Master Data Management and support functions. With a background in parts sales and service coordination from Equipment & Services BIA, along with foundational experience in management roles at Traxx Ltd/Gamma Civic Ltd, Yaswandeo brings a well-rounded skill set to the field. Educationally, Yaswandeo holds a BSc (Hons) in Production & Operations Management, Industrial Engineering from the University of Mauritius.
