Jessica Berger

Jessica Berger has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jessica is currently working as a Vice President at Upland Capital Group since July 2022. Prior to this, they spent eight years at Tennant Special Risk LLC from December 2014 to June 2022, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Underwriter. In this role, they successfully increased the company's gross written premium by establishing partner relationships, implementing paperless file management systems, and actively participating in industry associations.

Before their time as a Chief Operating Officer, Jessica worked as a Vice President and Underwriter at Tennant Special Risk LLC from July 2013 to November 2014. Jessica joined the company in November 2008 and worked as an Underwriting professional until July 2013.

Prior to their tenure at Tennant Special Risk LLC, Jessica worked at BB&T. Jessica started as a Management Development Program Employee in July 2004 and quickly advanced to the role of Business Services Officer, which they held from December 2004 to November 2008.

Throughout their career, Jessica has demonstrated their expertise in underwriting, relationship building with partners, implementing efficient systems, and contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Jessica Berger completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Risk Management & Insurance and Finance and Banking from Appalachian State University. Additionally, they earned the certification of Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) from The Institutes in January 2020.
