Rick Rinewalt

Rick Rinewalt is the SVP of Cloud Operations at Upland Software. Rick has over 20 years of experience in IT and has held various positions at RenewData, Pearson, National Computer Systems, and Enserch Energy Services. Rick has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University.

Rick began their career in 1994 as a Lead IT & GIS Analyst for the Texas Army National Guard. In 1997, they became the IT Manager for Enserch Energy Services and oversaw the startup of a new facility. Rick was responsible for creating and rolling out a remote service delivery model across all locations and consolidating data centers.

In 2000, Rick joined National Computer Systems as Sr. Manager of IT & Advanced Technologies. Rick was responsible for a $5 million budget and led a team of 10 employees. Rick successfully executed various highly visible and transformational programs.

In 2003, Pearson acquired National Computer Systems and Rick was promoted to Managing Director of Global Communication Networks. In this role, they were responsible for directing global strategy, project execution, and operations for over 20,000 end users of advanced VoIP services, customer contact centers, HD video communications, and highly visible and transformational programs.

In 2012, Rick left Pearson to join RenewData as IT Director. RenewData is a $150 million business that provides SaaS legal review, archival, forensics and analytics to global corporations and firms. Rick was responsible for leading the IT team and overseeing all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure.

In 2016, Rick left RenewData to join Upland Software as SVP of Cloud Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's cloud operations team and overseeing all aspects of the company's cloud infrastructure.

Rick Rinewalt's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a B.A. in Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.

Rick Rinewalt works with Virginia Miracle - Chief Customer Officer, Karen Cummings - EVP & General Manager, and Mike Hill - Chief Financial Officer. Rick Rinewalt reports to Jack McDonald, Chairman & CEO.
