Kayla Ferris

Kayla Ferris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kayla is currently working as a UX & Product Designer at Uplift Delivery since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Brand Designer & Marketing Coordinator at Capital City Theatre from January 2022. From July 2021 to November 2021, they were a Graphic Designer II at Prairie Meadows. Kayla also worked as a Graphic Designer I at Prairie Meadows from August 2018 to July 2021. Kayla has experience working as a Graphic Designer at Capital City Theatre from August 2017 to January 2020 and at The Annual Magazine from September 2017 to May 2018. Kayla served as the Publicity Coordinator in the Department of Theatre Arts at Drake University from August 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, Kayla gained experience as a Communications Specialist - Intern at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services from May 2017 to February 2018. Kayla also worked as a Recreational Therapy Support Staff - Summer LTE at Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled from May 2015 to August 2016. Kayla began their career as a Cashier at Waunakee Piggly Wiggly from August 2013 to January 2015.

Kayla Ferris has a diverse education history. In 2014, they enrolled at Drake University and completed their bachelor's degree in four years. Kayla'sdegree at Drake University consisted of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in JMC Advertising, a B.A. in Graphic Design, and a minor in Musical Theatre.

In 2021, Kayla attended CareerFoundry, where they completed a certification program in UX Design. This program lasted for a year, and they obtained a certification in UX Design.

Additionally, in May 2022, Kayla obtained a certification as a Certified OOUX Strategist from the Object-Oriented UX Strategist Certification institution.
