Aleta Estrada Barrientos

Aleta Estrada currently serves as the Director of College Readiness at Uplift Education, a position held since July 2012, after progressing from the role of Dean of College Prep. Prior experience includes serving as an Alumni Specialist at Peak Preparatory from June 2010 to July 2012, and as the Associate Director of Admissions at Texas Lutheran University from 2006 to 2008. Aleta also worked as a College Counselor at IDEA College Preparatory in 2005-2006, and held the position of Assistant Dean of Admissions at Wheelock College from 2003 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College (2001-2002) and a Bachelor of Arts in Animal Behavior from Southwestern University (1997-2001).
