Brandon Pope

Brandon Pope, LSW, M.Ed, is an experienced educator with over 15 years in the field, currently serving as an IB Biology Instructor, Science Department Chair, and AP Biology Teacher at Uplift Education since 2008, where student AP Biology scores have consistently exceeded national averages. Pope has also acted as Content Lead, focusing on the development of educational materials and benchmarks for AP Environmental Science. Previously, at the University of Virginia, Pope conducted research on sexual size dimorphism in various species, and prior to that, served as Assistant Principal at Cassata High School. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Education/Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas.
