Keara Criss

Keara Criss is an experienced educator currently serving as a Pre Kindergarten Teacher at Uplift Education since July 2022. With a strong background in early childhood education, Keara has previously worked as a Pre Kindergarten Teacher and Self-Contained Special Education Teacher at Houston ISD from August 2016 to July 2020, and as a Senior Children's Service Worker at Star of Hope Mission from July 2020 to December 2021. Additionally, Keara is a co-founder of Infinite Essence Nonprofit Organization, a role held since February 2015. Earlier experience includes work as an Assistant Child Care Specialist at UT Child Development Center and as an usher at Frank Erwin Center. Keara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate's degree in American Sign Language and Interpreting from Austin Community College.
