Pamela Okolo

Pamela Okolo serves as the ESL Coordinator at Uplift Education since November 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating the academic vision for English learners and providing instructional coaching and professional development for teachers. Prior experience includes a role as a Dyslexia Interventionist at Dallas Independent School District, where Pamela delivered specialized lessons and maintained student progress documentation. Earlier roles at Mount Pleasant ISD encompass teaching first-grade dual language and fourth-grade ESL, mentoring novice teachers, and providing targeted intervention for students in reading and mathematics. Pamela holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
